Rose Lane, Paradise Valley

This beautifully renovated Calvis Wyant Santa Barbara style property delicately balances between a grand estate and a cozy family home.

Vibrant Grand Entrance

Dramatic iron and glass doors lead into a vibrant entry with orange leather iron benches and a great room with deep blue custom English roll arm sofas, muted blue crushed velvet cornering chaises with gold nail head, and gold and marble accents. The homeowner’s remarkable western art collection is shown to its best advantage arranged as a grand gallery wall opposite the imposing stone fireplace.
The showstopper is the sumptuous emerald green dining room anchored by a stunning custom-designed Greek key hair on hide rug. A gleaming traditional table creatively contrasts with the hip and trendy black and white ‘eating and drinking themed’ photography wall. The green velvet chairs add another layer of richness and comfort to the room. The black sideboard featuring a flock of golden geese reflects the homeowners love for hunting.

Warm Modern Luxury

The family room hosts a deep upholstered sofa in a metallic-threaded charcoal fabric. Rough-hewn Mexican wood chairs visually balance the gorgeous wood beams. Warm elements including caramel colored leather poufs and the one-of-a-kind white wood slice coffee table bring an organic warmth and a bit of wow to the space. A black island and gold accents in the kitchen are repeated in the iron and gold pendant light and the black built-in bar with gold pulls.
One of my early projects for a wonderful family from Wyoming. The most fun room was the emerald green dining room with the custom hair on hide black, white and green rug designed around a glam dining table. Al of the black and white photos were about family, drinking and eating. My favorite was the model drinking champagne from her high heel shoe. Loved finalizing the design for this space and this fabulous family.
